Explanation to Metabolism or Stomach Problems as per Ayurveda Doctors at Ayulife
As per Ayurveda, our Metabolism is controlled by digestive fire or Jathargni. This Jathragni lies in the stomach and is responsible for the digestion and assimilation of food. When this is in balance stage called Samagni the metabolism is healthy.
Imbalance in Tridoshas leads to disbalanced Jathragni. When Pitta dosha dominates it leads to Teeksha Agni which increase the digestion power of body. This leads to increase in production of acid in our body.
These three pictures explain how the digestive fire plays important role in digestion of food and its imbalance causes the carious issues like Acidity
